Mi Maggi Cepat Dimasak Enak Dimakan

eh Nana Suleiman pun sama seperti semua tipikal orang Malaysia.
kalu pi kedai, nak beli ubt gigi, mesti sebut nak beli "COLGATE",
padahal beli nak DARLIE.
sama ler dengan mi segera pun, gasak le try Mamee ke Cintan ke Mi Sedap ke,
tetap sebut "MAGGI"
i'm addicted to Megi ;)
dan walaupun na suka masak, sebulan mesti nak gak makan Megi walapun sekali.
paling suka perisa ASAM LAKSA. potong & boh cili padi & daging, biar megi tu pekat sikit. terbaek!
Megi Asam Laksa tak sedap boh telur. hilang rasa masam asam laksa tu. brand lain yang perisa asam laksa pun tak sedap macam MEGI nye. tapi kalu perisa Kari, Ayam..pergh memang boh telur le best! jangan lupe cili padi.
erm brand lain. ape ek. owh..haaa Mi segera MI HUN Mamee perisa tomyam agak sedap... kalu rajin boh daun ketumbar, tomato sikit & udang..sedap weh.. tak tipu..
ok yang lain banyak lagi belum cuba. kalu nak suggest kat na pun ok gak.. ;P
tapi mkn megi slalu tak elok...too much MSG.. erm sebab tu rambut na slalu gugur kot...makanan wajib zaman belajar dahulu...teman baik pukul 2 pagi tapi tak boleh kuar daripada hostel..hehe save cost plak tu!
tapi serius, Megi Asam Laksa memang terbaik. saya Nak Yang Besar Punya! hehehe ;P

amo oglio.
i cooked oglio today. simple & tasty.
u can cook it under 10 minutes.
i always have a thing for italian.
be it the country, the language, the film, the culture but most of all, the food.
mamamiaaaaa.. hoyeh hoyeh...
so how to cook oglio?
smash some garlic.
saute with olive oil.
add prawns. the more. the better.
and then, the spaghetti.
add some parsley for flavoring.
and lastly, chili flake, black pepper, salt to taste.
simply delicious!
ok now im craving for lasagna. haish!

Main Dish: Fiza Hamad 's Laksa Sotong

BAHAGIAN I : KUAH LAKSA
Bahan-Bahan A (di-blend)
1 kilo ikan kembung (direbus terlebih dahulu kemudian asingkan tulang & isi.pastikan tulang di-blend asing kemudian tapis)
3 biji bawang besar
belacan mengikut citarasa
Bahan-Bahan B
1 tangkai bunga kantan
3 keping asam keping
segenggam daun kesom
garam secukup rasa
BAHAGIAN II : BAHAN HIASAN
timun
cili merah
bawang
daun salad
BAHAGIAN III : LAKSA
boleh gunakan laksa kering atau basah.
laksa direbus terlebih dahulu.
CARA-CARA :
masukkan bahan-bahan A dan bahan-bahan B bersama.masak di-atas api sederhana besar.
masak sehingga mendidih,kemudian angkat.
masukkan garam secukup rasa.
sediakan bersama bahagian II dan bahagian III
*SAMBAL SOTONG*
Bahan-bahan A - (di-blend)
20 biji cili kering
3 ulas bawang putih
3 ulas bawang merah
belacan mengikut citarasa
Bahan B
7 ekor sotong kering (direbus)
CARA-CARA:
Bahan-bahan A diblend kemudian dimasak di-atas api sederhana.
masukkan sotong kering yg telah direbus.
masukkan garam secukup rasa.begitu juga dgn air asam jawa mengikut citarasa.

Main Dish : Kak Didi's Mama Macaroni
1. Macaroni ( di rebus lah dulu ye)
2. 4 ulas bawang putih, 1 biji bawang kuning ( di dadukan)
3. 1 tin kacang pis (nk guna mix vege pn ok)
4. daging cincang (klau nk tmbah ngan udang or fishball ke fishcake)
5. kicap, cili boh dan sedikit garam
Cara2nya :-
1. Macaroni diredam dgn air panas sekejap
2. tumis bawang putih ngan bawang kuning hingga naik bau
3. masukkan cili boh,kicap n garam kacau hingga rata
4. masukkan daging
5. masukkan macaroni td and last skali masukkan kacang pis gaul hingga
rata.

Main Dish: Mama Fiza's Udang Masala
- 500g -1 kg udang
- 20 tangkai cili kering
- 1 sudu teh lada hitam (serbuk)
- 1 sudu makan jintan manis (serbuk)
- 1 susu makan jintan putih (serbuk)
- 1 sudu makan serbuk kunyit
- 2 sudu makan gula merah
- 5 ulas bawang merah
- 4 ulas bawang putih
- 1/2 inci halia
- 3 tangkai daun kari
- asam jawa (ikut citarasa)
Cara-caranya:
Bahagian A (DI-BLEND)
- cili kering,
- bawang
- merah,kunyit
Bahagian B (CARA MEMASAK)
- tumis bawang merah,bawang putih,halia serta daun kari.
- setelah kekuningan, masukkan bahan yg di-blend.
- tunggu sehingga cili masak dan masukkan asam jawa,gula merah serta serbuk perasa.
- apabila bahan2 tadi telah pecah minyak,masukkan udang.
- biarkan selama 10 minit sehingga mendidih kemudian angkat untuk dihidangkan

Finger Food: Faezah's Ebiko Bread Sushi Roll
- 500g ebiko/telur ikan wane oren yg kecik2 tu, bleh minta kat kaunter sushi in hypermarket
- mayonnaise
- a dozen of crabsticks (each crabstick cut into 3)
- white bread (each has to be cut into two)
- carrot (slice thinly)
- cucumber (slice thinly)
- seaweeds
- roti yg sudah dipotong di alas dgn seaweed (seaweed di sapu sedikit mayonis utk lekatkan kepada roti),
- kemudian sapukan sedikit mayonis+ebiko yg dicampurkan td mengikut kesukaan (byk atau sikit),
- kemudian letakkan bahan lain seperti isi ketam yg telah dipotong ikut kesukaan, hirisan timun dan carrot..... gulungkan roti tersebut dan letak ke pinggan.
- *** kemudian, masuk ke mulut dan merasa kenikmatannya... hahhahahahahhahahaha (lu kena buat n wa kena rasa)

Dessert: Lynn's Jelly Suke-suke
- 3 packets of different jelly flavour: strawberry, apple & grape
- 1 packet of agar-agar
- 3 cups of water for 3 packets different jelly flavour
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of pineapple flavouring
- cook all three different jelly flavour, one after another.
- let all three flavoured jelly freeze for 2-3 hours
- cut all three flavoured jelly into small cubes
- boil the agar-agar, with 1 tablespoon pineapple flavouring & 2 cups of sugar
- then pour the agar-agar in a serving
- and just put all your small cubes flavoured jelly into the agar-agar randomly. design creatively.
- put in a fridge in 2-3 hours
- serve chill

Main Dish: Cici's Simple Nasi Goreng Kampung
- nasi yang telah dimasak
- segenggam ikan bilis
- segenggam cili api
- minyak
- garam
- ajinomoto
- goreng ikan bilis sehingga rangup
- goreng cili api hingga meresap rasa pedas
- masukkan nasi dan gaul bersama ikan bilis & cili api yang telah digoreng.
- rencahkan sedikit garam & ajinomoto secukup rasa.
chumel, salah eja.hahaha.
Dessert: Pengat Pisang Cik Mah
- seikat pisang
- santan pekat
- gula melaka
- gula pasir
- daun Pandan
- 3 cawan susu cair
- 2-3 sudu biji sagu
Cara-caranya:
- Hiriskan pisang mengikut size & bentuk yang anda suka. bentuk bunga & hati pun boleh kalau anda rajin.
- Panaskan santan pekat, susu cair, kemudian 2- 3 sudu gula melaka yang menjadi pewarna.
- Masukkan gula pasir, daun pandan & biji sagu
- Gaul hingga gelegak kemudian masukkan pisang.
Boleh dimakan bersama teh o kurang manis pada waktu petang sambil menonton drama jam 6.30pm kat tv3 tu.

Malay Main Dish : Sambal Daging Cik Mah
- 500 g daging
- home made cili paste
- sliced onions (seulas bawang besar)
- sliced garlic (4 ulas bawang putih)
- garam & ajinomoto
- gula
- minyak masak
Cara-caranya:
- Bila minyak panas, tumis bawang besar & bawangg putih sampai wangi
- Masukkan cili boh (tambah lebih jika ingin pedas & berkuah)
- Masak sampai pecah minyak, boleh dimasakkan lembap atau garing mengikut citarasa masing-masing
- Masukkan sedikit garam, gula & ajinomoto.
Saya salin resepi ni sama dalam buku dan seperti arwah ibu saya cakap ketika itulah. saya mintak resepi ni masa umur saya 14 tahun. Mama memang suka masak guna ajinomoto (penambah rasa). tapi kalau anda kurang berminat dengan ajinomoto tak yah le tambah dalam masakkan anda.

Mimi's Chicken Mayo
- 2 cans of Campbell cream of chicken sup
- 1 can of button mushroom
- 2 table spoon of Mayonnaise
- Broccoli
- Ginger
- Parmesan Cheese
- Chicken ( Breast only)
- Pita Bread
Preparation:
- Cook your cream of chicken then add in the mayonnaise
- Boil broccoli, button mushroom.
- Boil chicken breast with ginger
- Slice all the boiled ingredients.
- Put all the ingredients in a big pan, pour the cream of chicken mayonnaise in it.
- Spread pepper and parmesan cheese on top
- Bake for 20 minutes
- And scoop the baked chicken mayo into your pocket pita bread.

Dessert : Lynn's Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:
1. 250 g butter
2. 200 g sugar
3. 170 g self rising flour
4. 30 g cocoa flour
5. 15-20 g nescafe coffee
6. 5 eggs
7. 1 teaspoon of vanilla
8. 1 small scoop of margarine (brand: planta)
Preparation:
1. mix all the ingredients.
2. bake at 180 degress for 45 minutes.
This is my favourite chocolate cake in the world. No joke. Thank you, Kak Lynn, you make my life worth living. hehehe

Dessert: Lynn's Marble Cake
Ingredients:
- 250 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 170 g self rising flour
- 25 g corn flour
- 5 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1 small scoop of margarine (brand: planta)
- a food colouring - red/yellow.
Preparation:
- mix all the ingredients.
- divide the mixed into different bowl. mix one bowl with a half teaspoon red food colouring, another bowl with yellow food colouring.
- then put the coloured ingredients and design in a the baking pan
- bake at 180 degress for 45 minutes.
You can serve with hot tea or coffee. gerenti best. eceh... ;P

Umpan tekak 1: Sambal Belacan Cik Mah
- Red chillies/Cili Merah
- Shrimp paste/Belacan
- Salt/Garam
- Aji nomoto
Preparation/ Cara-cara menyediakannya:
- Bake your belacan for about 30 seconds to one minute.
- Blend red chillies and belacan
- Add salt & aji nomoto according to your taste.
And walla, the best side dish to go with your rice and other food.

i'm inspired to blog what ever recipes i can get because:
a) i love food and cooking (although it's not my expertise or i cook everyday) is my therapy, besides taking photographs & shopping.
b) i need to inherit all family's recipes for the next generations to come, like myself, i keep on calling & texting my elder sisters for my late mother's recipes. now i just can go online for them. i want to cook as good as my late mother's cooking. insyaAllah.
c) i love to cook for my family and friends if i have time (and if rajin, selalu malas) it's always nice to see when other people eat what you have cooked from the heart. (walaupun kekadang tak sedap, hahaha)
d) i'm addicted Asian Food Channel (703) & Travel and Living (707).
f) i'm inspired to blog about it after watching julie & julia the movie. you should watch it too!
e) this blog is nothing more than a platform to share what i have with others. esspecially food! sharing is caring.
